North St. Louis Tornado Response

"Resilience in Real Time: North St. Louis Tornado Response" is a StoryMap documenting RomoGIS' collaboration with LOVEtheLOU as GIS technologies and tools were introduced to support a community centered response effort after a natural disaster.

This StoryMap highlights the recovery efforts established by LOVEtheLOU which were supported by RomoGIS after a tornado devastated the St. Louis, Missouri in May 2025. This StoryMap details the step-by-step process that supported the community with the RomoGIS team and LOVEtheLOU team providing a central hub for resources and information. This project exemplifies how GIS can be used for environmental monitoring, emergency response and long-term recovery.​
